Marina Bay Sands Completes Full Hotel Room Overhaul as Part of $1.75B Transformation

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore has finished upgrading its entire hotel room inventory, marking a major milestone in its multiyear US$1.75 billion reinvestment program aimed at elevating facilities, luxury offerings, and guest experiences.

The resort now features 1,850 redesigned rooms, including a dramatically expanded suite portfolio of 775 suites — up from just 180.

This room overhaul is one component of a broader multibillion-dollar expansion that will introduce a new luxury hotel tower, a state-of-the-art entertainment arena, and additional premium MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) space. The expansion is being designed by Safdie Architects, led by Moshe Safdie, the visionary behind the property’s iconic architecture.

146-Inch TVs and Elevated Luxury

Within the current three-tower complex, The Sands Collection has been fully reimagined as one of two refined hotel collections created through the renovation.
The Sands Collection encompasses 1,480 rooms and suites, ranging from sophisticated Sands Premier Rooms to spacious Sands Family Suites.

The ultra-luxury Paiza Collection offers predominantly suite accommodations, including the extravagant three- to four-bedroom Chairman Suite, equipped with a full kitchen, karaoke room, and a striking 146-inch television.

Urban Spa Sanctuary

Among the top-tier accommodations is the two-bedroom Presidential Suite, which includes a private golf simulator featuring virtual versions of world-renowned courses.

The Horizon Suite introduces an urban spa retreat concept, complete with a Himalayan salt wall, dry sauna, private gym, hammam shower, and dual massage tables — ideal for guests seeking wellness and rejuvenation.

Marina Bay Sands also boasts one of the world’s largest butler teams, with 160 dedicated professionals offering 24/7 personalized service.

What’s Next

The resort’s next debut will be Jin Ting Wan, a fully owned and operated Cantonese restaurant set to open in July.

Marina Bay Sands’ casino remains a major draw, spanning four levels and featuring 600 table games — including baccarat, roulette, poker, and blackjack — along with 3,000 electronic gaming machines.
