Previously tracked on a state-by-state basis, rewards points are now consolidated into a single account accessible across all states where BetMGM operates.

This enhancement builds on BetMGM’s single digital wallet system, which provides users with a seamless experience. With one set of login credentials, consistent account settings, and a single cash balance, players can access their accounts in multiple jurisdictions, eliminating the need for separate state-specific wallets.

Limited Availability for New Features

While the streamlined rewards system applies to most BetMGM markets, it is not yet available in Ontario, Canada, or Puerto Rico. Currently, BetMGM operates in 29 jurisdictions across North America as part of its 50/50 joint venture between Entain and MGM Resorts International.

Improved Wallet Mobility

This update follows a recent milestone for BetMGM: enabling digital wallets to be transferable across state lines. For example, a player who opens an account in Las Vegas can use the same wallet when traveling to other states like Michigan, Louisiana, or Arizona.

BetMGM highlighted that it is the only regulated sports betting app allowing Nevada residents and visitors to carry funds across BetMGM’s mobile markets in the U.S., thanks to its partnership with MGM Resorts International.

BetMGM’s enhancements are part of its broader connection with the MGM Rewards program, which allows players to earn points redeemable at MGM’s properties nationwide. This integration includes an innovative partnership with Marriott Bonvoy, further enriching loyalty benefits for users.
