Jackpot.com has announced its new role as the Official Lottery Courier for the Associated Press (AP), the renowned global news organization established in 1846.

In its effort to broaden its reach and attract new customer demographics, Jackpot.com’s partnership with AP will feature lottery results on the news organization’s website in states where Jackpot.com is operational.

Jackpot.com offers online lottery ticket purchasing through its courier service in six states: Arkansas, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Texas. These states currently do not permit their lotteries to sell tickets online.

Comparison with Jackpocket

Jackpot.com is a third-party platform that enables consumers to buy official state and interstate lottery tickets online. Nine states currently allow their lotteries to sell tickets online: Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Dakota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Washington, D.C. also facilitates online lottery sales.

In states where lotteries do not sell tickets online directly, courier services like Jackpot.com operate legally. Jackpot.com prides itself on its commitment to responsible gaming, being the only lottery courier in the U.S. accredited by the National Council on Problem Gambling with the iCap Responsible Gambling Accreditation.
