UFC middleweights Brendan Allen and Marvin Vettori recently engaged in an impromptu scuffle at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

The unexpected confrontation occurred shortly after the two fighters attended a Professional Fighters League (PFL) event at the casino’s Hard Rock Live arena on Friday.

According to a report from MMA Mania, Vettori, 30, from Italy, initially tried to strike UFC light heavyweight Tuco Tokkos. This led to a physical altercation with Allen, 28, from South Carolina, as they exchanged punches, including a few hits to each other’s faces.

Tumble onto Roulette Table

At one point during the altercation, Vettori reportedly fell onto a roulette table, drawing a crowd of onlookers who captured the incident on their cell phones.

Despite the intense exchange, neither fighter sustained significant injuries, and no arrests were made, according to reports.

An eyewitness account detailed the events of the night: “Vettori tried to swing at Tuco Tokkos and missed. Michael Johnson then moved everyone out of the way, and Brendan Allen stepped in, hitting Vettori with a 1-2 combo, causing him to fall into a roulette table,” MMA Mania reported.

UFC CEO Dana White, based in Las Vegas, later commented on the incident via social media, humorously noting that it “had to be [the] fight of the night if it was at PFL.”

Vettori later took to social media on Friday night, saying, “One-armed Vettori is unbeaten. Ain’t never missing s**t.”

He added, “Basically, he gets popped right on the spot, then hides behind his guys, gets popped again in the chaos, then 10 people get between us, and I think it’s over. They let him rush me, he gets caught again in the end. All of this one-armed. Proper sucker.”

Prior Match Canceled

Allen and Vettori were originally scheduled to face off at UFC 240 in April, but the match was canceled due to an injury Vettori sustained, according to MMA Junkie.
